How It All Began

The Gate Hot Pot was born from a simple idea: that the best meals are the ones you cook together. Inspired by the communal tradition of hot pot across Asia, we set out to create a space where families, friends, and colleagues could slow down, eat well, and genuinely enjoy each other's company.
We opened in Springvale because this community is home — a neighbourhood rich with food culture, warmth, and people who understand that a meal is never just a meal. It's time shared. It's celebration. It's belonging.
